Girly Quilt

I made the mistake of going to my favorite quilt shop last week, and I found this darling charm pack of Valentine fabrics. Of course I could not resist! I ended up cutting each charm into four pieces and re-assembling everything in patches. Then I sewed them all together, threw on some borders, and put it together with this fabulous gigantic rick-rack in the edge.

The whole project was a "make-it-up-as-you-go" kind of thing, and it went together very quickly. I love how it turned out!!

Here's a close-up, also showing the backing fabric. Can't wait to use it for my baby girl!
