Measuring Tape Pin

This little measuring tape's mechanism broke, and it wouldn't retract anymore. Rather than chuck it, I decided to create something with it.


I cut four equal pieces off and made four loops. It had cute red markings and numbers on it that I liked, so I chose a red button for the middle.


I handstitched a pin closure on the back, so now I can pin it to a bag, my sewing machine cover, or anywhere I like!
