This week two of my sisters contracted... you guessed it.....
In honor of the occasion, I just had to whip up this little guy! The pig pattern was recommended to me by my friend Cathy. You can find it here. I reduced the pattern quite a bit; my pig ended up about 4 1/2" from snout to tail. I made up the wings -- folded some felt, whacked it, and topstitched!
okay so that's adorable. Thanks for including the link for the pattern. I will be whipping up like 3 or 4 of these to make a mobile over my son's changing table. I think they would look super cute in different colors. Why flying pigs for a baby mobile? Why not? I also "didn't" watch the transformers movie. My other half loved it and watched it with the kids, I wasn't that interested.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Love it! I may have to at least bookmark the pattern, may try it if I get the courage up! :D
ReplyDeleteI had a Swine Flu scare as well, a friend of mine that I am around nearly every day was diagnosed and confirmed to have it. I made sure to get tested right away! Thankfully, it was negative! :D
I hope that your sisters get well soon!
Holy cow--so stinkin cute!
ReplyDeleteI hope your sisters get well soon (and stay away from your family in the meantime)!
