(I apologize for the bad photo -- it's the only one I have!)This was my maternal grandmother's bridal quilt. Red and green basket quilts were quite traditional for brides. My mom started making hers just before she got married. It's not complete yet, but she did finish piecing it a couple years ago!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like the swap stuff! I was really stressing because it looks like you can make just about anything, and do it really well! I did make that hat, I just learned how, the are so fun! You can fold a cuff and clip a little flower onto it! I am going to add the beanies to my boutique soon! Still working on perfecting the sizes!
