Linnea over at Flynn n' Fabric is hosting an ABC I-Spy Swap -- perfect for creating an ABC I-Spy book! She is in need of just a few more participants... So head on over and check it out! (I already signed up -- obsessed!!!)
Also -- a quick heads-up! I was at Dollar Tree last night, and they have restocked their 3-packs of mini composition notebooks -- perfect for making Mini Covered Notebooks!
I picked up an armful. Or two. :o) I may have gotten a little carried away!

P.S....did you leave any for other customers! LOL
Oh, that alphabet i-spy is a great idea! I've been trying to figure out just how I want to do my i-spy project that I've been collecting for, and I think that just moved to the top of the list!
LOL!! A little carried away? ;-D I think I might need to head on over and check them out. ;-)
I wish I had more time, but don't think I can sign up right now... Have to get my mug rug swap down first and in the mail. Then I can sign up for the next swap.

Oh, sometime living in Germany and reading English blogs is NO FUN!
I am LOVING the idea of the ABC I spy swap! I mean so efficient to get together the whole ABC! AMAZING IDEA!
BUT ... of course German words are different from English words. (Who would have thought!?) :-D
So it does not work for me. Or rather - it would not work for my Germany only speaking kids. :-(
Maybe I should start such a swap on my German blog ...
Care, you are certainly putting VERY BAD ideas in my head!!!
And those cute tiny books!? Why is there no dollar tree around here. ARGH!
Will keep reading your blog anyway. Even if I die of envy one day ... ;-)
Lol! Don't buy out the store now :)
Can I ask how much the mini notebooks cost? I might have to ask my hubby if he'll stop on the way home from work.
VickiT,
They are 3/$1! Well worth it! :o)
Care.
You got me, Care. I found those little notebooks last night at Dollar Tree and could not resist. I whipped a cover together out of some scraps I had on hand and it turned out so cute! Bryan just laughed at me when I showed him. Me and my random projects...
Your little notebooks are adorable! Can't wait to try this out! Thanks for posting the pattern.
I made a bunch of these for Mother's Day, and they were a big hit! Thanks so much for the great idea and tutorial! I blogged about it here: http://arslongavitabrevisblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/happy-mothers-day.html
