After making a little Sleepy Kitten for each of my kids this past weekend, I had to make one for myself --and of course I had to make her look like my own kitty, Smeagol!
(Update: Pattern and instructions can be found HERE.)
And what kitty doesn't love a BOX?? I had so much fun making my mini Smeagol a little mini cardboard box!(Update: Pattern and instructions can be found HERE.)
Here is big Smeagol in one of her favorite boxes (yes, she is a girl!)
Then I had to take it even further and give her a tail. Love!

She's so little!
I got to enjoy her for a few minutes -- until JellyBean woke up from her nap. It took all of six seconds for her to claim tiny Smeagol as her own! Oh well! I don't mind! :o)

ReplyDeleteXo
I love Smeagol! I'm anxiously awaiting the tutorial now. I suspect my kitty would like one of his own to wrestle with. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of mini-Smeagol made me laugh out loud - I have a cat that is box/basket/bag obsessed too, so when you post the tutorial, I will be making my own itty-bitty-kitty to match! Too cute! (If you want to see my Sewing Assistant in action, you can catch him here: http://chroniclesofcrafting.blogspot.com/ )
ReplyDeleteI love the new cats you made and cannot wait for the tutorial. Super cute!
ReplyDeleteCats are just so funny about boxes. Mine practically wears out the floor around my chair when I get something delievered in a box or even pull down one of my bins with fabrics. He's been known to get onto my desk/table while I'm looking in a box and just jump into the box before I've emptied it. He sees absolutely nothing wrong with that either. LOL
I can't wait for the tutorial!! That is soooo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your smeagol and your beautiful grey cat. Our cats love boxes too, it's so funny. If you have a minute, you should watch this funny clip about a Japanese cat called Maru and his attempt to get into small boxes. I nearly cried with laughter.
