This quilt belongs to my husband's mother's mother. Her mother (my husband's great-grandmother) belonged to a prolific quilt guild that created numerous quilts together. This is one that they worked on.
Once again, the combination of applique and embroidery is just beautiful. Whereas I don't think I would ever make a quilt like this, I can certainly appreciate all the incredible detail. Just look at the ribbon!
Here is what the corners are like. The amount of quilting, too, is just incredible.
