I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out!!
(Sorry, Mr. S., for making you model a flowery pink towel!)
Actually, my boys like it so much that they want their own, too. Guess I'd better go find some towels on sale!
I could easily do this with a beach towel, too!!
Well, I finished Jen's quilt last night! I'm happy with it. Like I said, just piecing plain old squares together like that is a bit boring, but I still like it. My mom says the colors remind her of sidewalk chalk. So, "The Sidewalk Chalk Quilt" it is!!
(Let's just pretend that row of squares down the back of the quilt is a design choice, rather than necessity. Let's also pretend I wasn't at the fabric store with yelling children, unprepared with math and guessing at the amount of fabric, only to be THREE INCHES SHORT on the backing fabric!! Truth? I do like a pieced quilt back. It was a happy accident!)

A Few Things, Continued....
After fixing the little problem on JellyBean's towel, I decided to go one step further and add a hood.

I love the 'accident' on the back of the quilt! It looks like you designed it that way. :-D
