Looking back at the past week's posts... pretty boring! Many apologies. I am feeling some kind of "sewing paralysis." I haven't been able to motivate myself to do much of anything, unless it's a super brainless, menial task -- like cutting little squares of fabric! I do know what the problem is, though -- I've got to finish up some "hafta do's" that are using up brain cells, and I will be free to start something new. I had a breakthrough on one of the "hafta's" last night, so I'm already feeling better!
In the meantime, here's a photo of JellyBean's wall quilt -- all finished, and has been since last Friday!
I also made this little dolly quilt to match. The finished size is 19"x16 1/2". Would it be too much to hang this on another wall in her room? Or is one enough? Believe it or not, I've never really hung quilts on the wall, so I don't know how much is too much!
Also, should I wash the larger quilt before hanging it, or leave it as-is -- nice and crisp? I just can't decide. I didn't do a whole lot of quilting on it, but I do think it would squidge up a little bit if I were to wash it....
I've got lots of ideas for new projects swimming around in my head, and plan to get started as soon as I have brain space. There will be actual GOOD STUFF to post next week, I promise -- hopefully with a tutorial, or maybe two!! :o)
